Feedback: Well done! (an art teacher that hadn’t seen or known of the trailer... spotted it while at the library). I commend the Real Art Roadshow trustees for what they are doing! Absolutely flabbergasted just how high quality the art is! Presentation is stunning and the presenters are pleasant to deal with. Keep up the good work. - 5-7 February – Auckland Viaduct. Feedback: Representatives from the Auckland Art Gallery visited and were very impressed. Several teachers came for preview and attended the launch. Lots of comments about what a good concept it was and the spectacular artwork.

Feedback: So what’s it all about? Who is funding this? Wow what a great idea. This is simply amazing having so many well known artists under one roof. It’s great to see someone giving so much back to society. This is so cool. Brilliant. - 7-11 July – Peace Park (beside Whakatane Museum & Gallery) Boon St, Whakatane. Black collection.

Feedback: So good to see such a collection in Whakatane. Wheelchair bound person, access a little steep, but good, wonderful collection. Robyn Kahukiwa, “disturbing piece but I like it.” Lots of Kids from Whakatane High School dragged parents in. Average time spent looking at collection 35 – 40 minutes. One local gent on entry asked “What is this rubbish?”. 1 hour 10mins later “I’ll go and get my family and come back”. Fantastic collection. So fantastic to have this quality of art in Whakatane. - 14-18 July – Masonic car park (next to Tauranga Art Gallery) Willow St, Tauranga. Black collection.
- 29 September-3 October – Memorial Hall Carpark, Wanganui. Black collection.

Feedback: The artists Matt Cooper and James Robinson who both have work displayed in the trailer came in and were surprised and impressed to see their work included in the collection. Two first year classes from UCol came through trailer – enjoyed the show. Many people questionned why RAR had not been to Auckland as it is a fantastic experience. Overall, reaction from the public was positive. Many comments on what a great idea it was to promote art. - 5-10 October – Te Manawa, Palmerston North. Black collection.
Visitors: 550
Feedback: Everyone very impressed by range of artwork and loved the idea behind the show. One woman just could not understand why anyone would want to do this. Lots of people were really keen to know when the next Roadshow would be visiting the area next year. Few people commented that they had not seen it visit their local school (Palm. North schools). Hope it will next year. “This is really inspiring. Makes me want to get back into my own art! We are pretty lucky to have this here.” “This is great. Really lush” “I like how it is presented. It’s good they have done their research. Art galleries could learn a thing or two from this.” “It’s great to see a variety of artists – up and coming artists as well as those who have already made it.” “I work at the art gallery. The pieces compliment each other very well don’t they” Marketing Assistant at Te Manawa blown away by the show. Thought it was absolutely stunning. “Ohhhh how fantastic! This is superb.” “These are lovely examples of their work” “What a collection” “There is some thoroughly expert artwork here” “This is fantastic” Many staff from Te Manawa came and told me how great it had been to have us here and thanked us. “I’m really pleased I’ve seen it. There’s some gorgeous works and it’s great to see.” This same person was pleased that there was going to be a bit more of a gender balance with the works in the new collection. More females than what is currently on display. “You don’t see so many NZ works together like this. This is fabulous” “It’s great to be able to take something away with you and keep looking at it” (referring to sketch pads).
